Leeds United appear to be back in the market for another attacker following the loan signing of Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton on Thursday.
Buonanotte has barely had time to get used to his surroundings at Thorp Arch before United have found themselves linked with another winger.
However, with Jack Harrison’s departure from Leeds now imminent, there are seemingly gaps that need to be filled in Daniel Farke’s squad.
But the winger Leeds have found themselves linked with will certainly shock supporters, with it being a name that never seems to go away.
Leeds United ‘make contact’ with Napoli for Noa Lang
Lang, 26, has been frequently linked with making the move to Elland Road for what seems like an eternity at this point, but one has ultimately yet to materialise.
This could be set to change, however, with AreaNapoli reporting that Leeds are one of the sides to “make contact” with Napoli for the winger alongside Wolfsburg and Monaco.
The report suggests Napoli would be open to loaning the winger out, with an obligation to buy during the summer, which is likely to suit United’s PSR situation more, should they choose to pursue a deal.
After impressing for PSV Eindhoven, with 11 goals and 10 assists in his last Eredivisie campaign before making the move to Napoli, the Dutchman, who’s made 15 appearances for his country, has had limited gametime under Antonio Conte at Napoli, starting just seven games in Serie A so far.
